Then
the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
It’s Father’s Day
weekend. The last few days of devos have
reminded us of the characteristics of our Father.
The best of earthly
fathers fail us. They’re human, they
have weaknesses, they operate out of wounds, and they mess up.
But when we know Jesus, we
come into His kingdom, He clothes us with His righteousness, and we shine like
the sun! We light up the earth!
Just writing these
devotions the past few days has turned my heart once again to my Father, being
reminded again of what a true Father He is.
He never fails. He’s divine, in Him is no weakness at
all. He operates out of love, and He
cannot mess up.
