Ps 90: You have placed our
iniquities before You,
Our secret sins in the light of Your presence.
God is holy. We are not. So when he shines the light of His presence
over our lives it reveals all that is not holy.
That’s why he sent his son Jesus, so that when he
looks upon us, he sees purity and holiness – through his son.
This enables our sins to be covered by Jesus’
blood.
When our iniquities (sin) seem to loom over us,
be all that defines us, consume us with shame…then comes the light…
It shines and it sees…but it sees through the
blood…and all shame is removed.
I want to live in the light of his presence,
where sin is covered and shame is no more.
