Isaiah 63:9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the
angel of His presence saved
them; In His love and in His mercy He redeemed them, And He lifted them and
carried them all the days of old.
A beautiful illustration of the mercy and love of Jesus.
He came and experienced all of the struggles on earth –
abandonment, ridicule, abuse, and even death – but his presence here on earth
among us – saved us.
He came to extend love and mercy and purchase us back from
sin and death and give us eternal life, healing, and hope – forever.
He presently lifts us and carries us when we are weak and
torn.
That’s the kind of God we serve – the one in whose presence
we live – the One who is the definition of love.
It’s all about Him.
