Engraved

November 18, 2012 I’m loving going through the Bible and reading verses on hands! The Bible is a lifetime novel, instruction manual, inspirational piece, and mind-blower, and of course the truth, and there’s always something new to learn! Did you know you are engraved on the palms of his hands? You are ever with Him. Tattoos are part of our culture now. And they’re not small tattoos on the ankle or the wrist, they’re tattoos that are visible, large, and cover main parts of the body. They’re everywhere, and they’re noticeable. We are tattooed, literally engraved, on his hands. This means we’re visible to him, we matter to him, and we’re noticeable to Him every minute of every day, every day of the year. When he lifts his hands to bless, there we are. When he waves his hands to heal, we’re right there in the middle. And when he pushes or nudges to lead, we’re going where that hand goes. What a comforting thought to know that I’m so important that I’m part of His hands, those same hands that created the universe and spoke me into being. Lord, thank you that I’m yours…now and forever. (Isaiah 49:16)
