Psalm 92:4 For
you make me glad by your deeds, Lord; I sing for joy at
what your hands have done.
What deeds
has the Lord done for you?
Start out by
recalling the extension of love he sent to you through his son, Jesus, to save you from your sins and bring you eternal life, free of the shame and guilt that
sin brings with it.
That’s a deed worth singing for joy about!
What
blessings has he given you and yours this year?
Start by
giving thanks for food, shelter, health, provision, etc. and see if joy doesn’t
bubble up…
God is a
generous God. I just read a great article reminding me of this here.
It doesn’t
take long to recall his generosity in your life, and that doesn’t take long to
lift the burdens of the day into songs of joy that rise to praise Him, for all he has done.
