John 6:31
Our fathers
ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”
This big group of people wandered in the wilderness with no
food or water, except that which God provided daily – straight from
heaven! That’s a pretty huge miracle,
one that needs to be told to the next
generation.
When we tell our kids of God’s faithfulness, they then tell
it to their kids. Those things we experience – like manna from heaven – need to
be chronicled. They need to be shared.
Why?
Because your kids will one day be walking in their own
wilderness, wondering where their next
paycheck is coming from, or food for the table.
And they’ll remember that story.
The one where you hate manna from heaven.
That’s good stuff right there…
