Genesis 17:21
But my covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to
you by this time next year.
God made a promise to Abraham, stating he and his wife would
have a son in their old age – a physical impossibility to them – but an easy
gift from God.
And it came to pass, even though the couple grew weary and
stepped in while waiting, and messed up – big time.
Once God establishes us in his Word, it’s a done deal.
We don’t have to worry about the
impossibility of it, because with HIM – all things are possible.
If you’re still waiting, don’t lose hope. He’s a good, good father and keeps his
promises – always and forever.
