II Samuel 7:11
I will also give you rest from all your enemies. “‘The Lord declares to you that the Lord himself will establish a house for you:
Do you sometimes feel like every day is a battle? Maybe you’re ill and fighting for
health. Perhaps your kids are causing
you all sorts of trouble and you feel as though you’re on the front lines of a
war. Or it could be that your marriage
is like a boxing match, with a fight to the finish.
These things and our family are not our enemies. But there is an enemy that seeks to destroy
all that we love and hold dear.
God promises to fight for us and defeat frustration, illness,
and turmoil. We have to trust him and
let go, and let him.
If your house feels shaky on its foundation, rest in Him. cast all your cares on him, because he really
does care for you.
And let him give you rest…and establish a house for you.
