In Heaven Itself

Psalm 89:2

I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.

I’m not sure how many times, but the Bible reminds us over and over again to look at the heavens to be encouraged about the love of God.

Here again we are told that he establishes his faithfulness in heaven itself.  And that very fact should solidify the fact that his love for us is forever.

There’s not a morning that goes by when the sun doesn’t rise.

There’s not a night that arrives when the moon doesn’t shine.

There’s not a cloud in the sky that doesn’t appear and then leave.

There’s not a season that comes that doesn’t pass and come again.

Just look around you.  All of nature testifies to the greatness and love of God – toward you and toward me.
