Apply your heart to discipline and your ears to words of knowledge.
If you’ve ever edited a photo and added text or
effects, you know that you have to hit APPLY or SAVE to make those changes show
up.
It’s the same with discipline and knowledge that
we learn from walking with Him on a daily basis.
Our good, good Father disciplines us and teaches
us from his Word, but if we don’t receive it and listen and acknowledge and
ingest it all – we walk away unchanged – much like looking in a mirror and
seeing something awry and walking away without making it right.
There have been many times in my life where I’ve
heard wonderful words of wisdom but left them on a shelf until it was too late
to use them.
Listen to your Father today and hit APPLY and
SAVE and then observe the changes…
