Jeremiah 14:22
Do any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies
themselves send down showers? No, it is you, Lord our
God. Therefore our hope is in you, for you are the one who does all this.
Sometimes it’s vital that we remember where our blessings
come from.
Why?
Because it makes us marvel, worship, give
thanks, adore, and realize that all good things in life are blessings from his
hand.
Some worship the creation, but we are to worship the
creator. And there’s a big difference.
The Lord our GOD is the one who “does all this” and it
therefore stands to reason that we should place all of our hope in Him.
Next time it rains, look up and smile…and give thanks.
