Proverbs 16:3
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
Before this verse we are told to trust in the Lord with all
our hearts.
When we do this, we can then commit to him whatever we
do. Our jobs, our marriages, our
children, our homes, all that defines us – we give to him – trusting Him to
care for it all.
It’s then that we can know that whatever happens in this life
– even loss or destruction – the Lord is establishing us for something good.
Yes, there is great loss in this world, and that’s why we
yearn for another. And that’s why we
need a Savior. And that’s why we commit
it all to Him, KNOWING he is over all and in all and will bring us through it
all.
Trust him.
Commit to Him.
Be established.
