Isaiah 45:8 Drip down, O heavens, from above, And let the
clouds pour down righteousness; Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, And righteousness spring
up with it. I, the Lord, have
created it.
Dripping like sweet honey on our heads.
Pouring down like a steady rain to cover us entirely.
Fruit springing from the earth, so much that the ground is
parting everywhere to make room for the produce.
The righteousness that falls, sinking into the ground like
seed that buries itself and grows because the ground is so fertile, the rain is
so perfectly steady, that there is no delay between planting of seed and
blossoms and fruit.
That’s what salvation does when planted in the hearts of
those who believe.
