Blessed

Jeremiah 17 says “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord And whose trust is the Lord. “For he will be like a tree planted by the water, That extends its roots by a stream And will not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought Nor cease to yield fruit.

What a great verse and reminder!

Those who trust in the Lord will be blessed!

In fact, we will be like trees by streams that have eternally green leaves – because we’re rooted deeply and securely in life.

In fact, when the heat of the summer comes and drought occurs, we will STAY green and even produce fruit!

Wow.

If you’re in a drought and super heated situations right now, plant yourself by the river of life and don’t move.  Sit there and dig deep into the truth. And trust.  Extend your roots into the word, and believe what you read.

What a wonderful father we have that when things get tough and hard, he only requires us to stand, while he shades us and causes fruit to grow.
