Double Seeking

Psalm 24:6

This is the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face—even Jacob. Selah.

A couple of days ago, the devo we shared encouraged you to pray for your children to seek the Lord, to know Him, and to believe that God will come to them in a powerful way.

This verse declares it to be so (Selah means “so be it.”) 

This generation – the one full of “snowflakes” as some like to call them – is one that God is calling out to seek his face.

This generation – the one full of millennials who are self-absorbed and mistrusting of government and all authority – is the one we can declare will be full of seekers of God.

God has promised that when we seek him with all of our hearts, we will find him.

Pray for your children and the children after them, that they will hunger and thirst for righteousness and will seek for it in the one who is Holy.
