Psalm 92:15 To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
Do you ever wonder why God is referred to as a rock? Why not a tree, or a pebble, or a plot of
ground? And what makes him immovable and
strong and a firm foundation?
It’s because he’s holy.
“…there is NO unrighteousness in Him.”
We cannot say that about anyone else, for we have all
sinned. In fact, we have all messed up
and we do it daily. But yet, he requires
us to be holy as He is.
And that process only takes place as we continually declare his holiness and his righteousness and his goodness in our lives…
He is our rock.
And that means the world…doesn’t it? There is nothing ill, bad, ugly, or unholy in him. That makes him immovable and strong.
And we belong to Him.
