Mark 13:11 When they arrest you and hand you over, do not
worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in
that hour; for it is not you who speak, but it is the Holy Spirit.
We now read about how this Holy Spirit, the One who placed
Jesus on earth as a baby, now dwells in us to enable us to stand against
persecution and even..arrest.
That’s a powerful Spirit.
We live in uncertain times in an uncertain country. And there are Christians across the world and
some even here, who are being persecuted for their faith.
However, we are told not to worry about what to say, because
of the Holy Spirit who dwells in us and will give us what to say when we need
to say it.
Isn’t that great comfort and assurance?
The Holy One is no longer out there, up there, over there…but
he’s in us and available and ready to help us in times of great need.
