Mindful

Psalm 115 cont'd:

The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the Lord, The small together with the great.

Here’s the key.

Our God is MINDFUL of us.  Any other gods do not have minds; therefore, they sit – unmindful of anything and anyone. 

Because God is mindful of us (he created us, in his image, for his works), he blesses us.

In fact, he will bless those who wander (Israel) and those who make false gods (the house of Aaron) when these same groups learn to fear Him.

In addition to all of that wonderful news, he blesses those who have a small amount of faith together with those of great faith.

God knows we are flesh and that we deal with our minds, our souls, and our wounds.  He is aware and mindful of that.

But he requires that we trust and fear Him, and he has instilled faith in each one of us so that we are able to do just that.
