Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
We all want to know our purpose in life.
God tells us to love Him and love others.
Here we are told to act justly, to love mercy,
and to walk humbly.
To act justly is to do what is morally
right. Christ in us enables us to do
this.
To love mercy is to extend forgiveness to those
that have hurt us, and Christ in us enables us to do this.
To walk humbly means to put others above
ourselves. Christ in us enables us to do
this.
God requires this of us because He gave his Son
for us, so that Christ in us gives us hope and power.
Power for what?
To fulfill our purpose here on earth.
